Jejalan Mencari Ikan Yang Sesat..

Pada kisah yang lalu, diceritakan kisah mencari kambing yang sesat,
kali ini ekspedisi mencari ikan yang sesat pula..

setelah mendapat “tips” dari seseorang, kami semua iaitu segerombolan lelaki pria terhebat dari Gabungan Jurubina Sdn Bhd telah bergerak ke Medan Selera Keramat (nama tidak rasmi)

Kemudian, di sana kami telah melihat sebegitu banyak ikan, entah di mana ikan yang dicari?

Jejalan mencari kambeng yang sesat~

Just now during lunch hour,

the ususal suspects, me, En Wan & Zak the driver, we went out to search for the lost kambeng..

Ended up near Ampang LRT in a kedai makan.

That’s where we found the long lost kambeng. But we were too late, it was already burned or in malay, “sudah kena bakar”

After that, we also went to find other victims

After that, we also met with some weird wastage, they “tabur the milo”

Then, all of us went all around looking for the victims,

but in the end….

All of them gone =(

Yong Tau Foo Kg Pandan

Well, for today was thinking of having lunch at the usual place which is in Ampang Point.

But then a friend, Zak invited me & En. Wan to go try the Yong Tau Foo in Kg Pandan.

We took a ride in his limited Edition Hyundai Getz to the place. He took the what we malays say, “jalan dalam”..

It cut through the busy highways but it has lots of turns, so i doubt i memorized the route :p

Basically, when we went there, we had to “rebus” everything ourselves, but somestimes the lady helped too, especially when the ‘food’ sank =)

Not bad for that quantity in this part of KL =)

Well, last sunday on the 16th of August 2009, i finally & officially have graduated from Universiti of Tenaga Nasional with Honours

=)

Didn’t really go out and lepak with all of the gang since my mum & sister was freaking tired & did i mention, hungry?

The parking was chaotic, apparently all the parents, or nearl all was too dumb! What’s the point of going out of the hall but stopping in like 2-3 metres from the door? massive bottleneck at the door when the whole ceremony was over at around 1.30pm.

All in all, im definitely satisfied that i managed to be on the stage to get my scroll..

hahahaha, didn’t really get the best student award, but guess i lived my part as i graduated..

yay~

Near hectic day~

Well, it’s been a hell a lot of busy day.. went to Pertama complex just now to collect some documents..

well, the lift was turned off, so had to climbed up and down 4 floors..

*haihz*

Went there first by using AKLEH, only 1 toll about rm1.50, then straight on exit at jalan ampang..Got lost there since the GPS on my 5800 aren’t that accurate…

*bummer*….

When finally found the place, had to find a parking, which was ok la, then need to wfind the CIMB bank before going into the lift to 14th floor..

Went back, the autopay was about rm2.50, and again, the GPS wasn’t accurate, so had to rely on some experience & signboards to Jalan Ampang to head back to the office..

Guess what, when i reached the office, the lift wasn’t working yet again since it was on maintenance..

*haihhhhhh*

Now i’m resting a bit, before my meeting with Pn Azleen in TNB Seremban at 3pm..

have to go out by 2.15pm i guess..

Well, hopefully it’s alrite since tomorrows my day off for the convocation rehearsal

Well, thanks to the very hyper En. Zakwan, my office mate, now i’m addicted to a facebook app called farmville.

It’s a minigame which allows u to be, basically a ‘farmer’

GI Joe

Just now me, Muna, and Fiza went to KLCC straight from work to watch GI Joe..

Well, was ’supposed’ to use her 4-door car instead of my 2-door, but Muna insisted..

how could i refuse a lady =)

before going into the cinema at 7pm, we had dinner at Subway.. i oredered a 6-inch honey oat bread with steack & cheese, ice lemon tea & chocolate chip cookie for rm14..

The Proposal

Hi,

went out to watch The Proposal starring Sandra Bullock (Miss Congeniality) & Ryan Reynolds (2 Guys, A girl, & a pizza place.. if i’m not mistaken )..

Well, the story was simply bout a female boss who had to marry her assistant in order to avoid deportation.
Along the way, the ‘couple’ encountered so many hurdles especially from the family & Emigration officer.

Truly, never expected the movie to be this good.. Sandra was totally looking young at her age ( tips: look at her neck :p ), and Ryan being the comedy guy, was awesome!!

Definitely a must watch for the whole family

Skybar

Me & my friends went out to the infamous skybar at Traders hotel in KL..

RV at Rasa SAyang restaurant near jalan Yap Kwan Seng, then shoot straight to Skybar..

The prices for the beverages were…. sky high..

a normal drink of apple juice at RM15!!

But besides that, the view and environment was damn marvelous..

Could watch the KLCC twin towers, maxis tower, and the whole KL area.

from 11pm to 1am to 2am, u could see the mist forming around the towers..

what a serene view i tell u =)

After that, all lepak for Shisha at Al-Andalus until 4AM!!!

definite a good nite spent…

Live Comedy Club

It’s overdue to post since i have so many works dumped on me. But it’s all good because i’m being paid for it :0

Anyway, had a chance to go to this Live Comedy at Zouk on 24th July with few friends.

It was my first time going to such events, but to tell the truth it was a hell a lot of fun.

The comics that really got me was a very much Malaysian Douglas Lim and a “F*cked up refugee” Hung Le

Was hilarious to the bones.. All of them..

Definitely not gonna miss the next event which is on th 20th & 21st just before the Month of Fasting

FireFox 3.5 hangs/freezes?

Well,

been having this NEW problem.

Apparently when FF “hangs” i can’t click on the tabs or refresh or do whatever, but i can still minimize or close the window.

Checking on the task manager, no visible hike in CPU usage or RAM also, so i suspect there’s a glitch somewhere in FF.

After a few minutes scrolling around the net, found one suggestion that was worked (so far).

I just went to Tools>Add-ons>Plugins>Shockwave Flash —> Disable this plugin…

So far, it works  as in no hangs or what, but there are on rare occasions it will lag a few seconds before returning to normal.

Hey, but it’s still better than none right?

A new day?

Well, just found out my colleague who did  Industrial Training with me at this company didn’t get to continue to work here.

Apparently he has some “issues” :p

Honestly, I’m quite relieved. Not to sound cruel, but that type of guys will just bring the company down.

Let me remind you, he’s the same guy who decided to leave our old rented apartment without paying me a SINGLE CENT for repairs, bills, etc.. i had to fork out my own money to the amount of RM430 to pay to the owner.

He just said, ” Yang aku tau aku dah keluar rumah, so aku tak bertanggungjawab kat umah”

How ignorant right?

Well, this is the same guy who sat next to me for 3 months.

Back to the point about him bringing down the company. Well, if he could do that even to the amount of RM430 which is small but an individual basis, what do you think will stop him from lets say, swindling the company’s money???

Exhausting weekend~

Since Friday, i had to finished up a lot of work due to the fact that my LI presentation had been pushed from 11th July to 6th July instead.. Mind u, that’s 5 days worth of presentation.

So on that Friday, i had to finish binding my reports, print out all my presentation slides, get the signatures from my bosses, & at the same time finish up some work in the office.

On the next day, me and the missus went to Perkampungan Portugis in Melaka from morning to 12am.

Was a hell of a day, full of tension & drama. That afternoon found out that one of my bosses wife just passed away.. Innalillah~

Was my 1st time went on a Portuguese style of engagement. To my surprise, they’re not much different from us . Well, the highlight of everything was when i accidentally drank a cola that was mixed with a whisky or what. Damn, i was laughing my ass of for no reason :p

Then i went to see an old friend of mine near Manipal College hostel & lepak there til morning. met a few cool guys there, smoked some bong also. Geez, these guys are supposed to be doctors, hahaha~

Then at about 8am wanted to go back straight to KL for my photoshoot session but was raining like hell, can’t even see the roads. So i just continued sleeping til about 9am before we all went for breakfast. Well, i had a very familiar nasi lemak with kangkung. hadn’t had that in a while

After that at about 10am straight away shoot back to KL for the photoshoot. Was a hell a lot of dresses & gowns i tell you. finished everything at about 7pm.

By 9pm im done & pengsan already..

Come Monday, my presentation was due to start at 10am. And being the smart person i am, i thought “why not go out of the house at 9am?”.. big mistake, massive jam at MRR2 i tell u, reached UNITEN at about 10.15am. Well, i was the second person to present, and my colleague from the same company went on 1st.

Being the greedy person he is, he tried to present ALL the projects he got a hand into, as though he’s some bigshot. But the lecturers weren’t impressed, asked a few basic question & he couldn’t answer any of them. They even said. “what is your role actually?”

HAHAHAHAHAHA~

Come my turn, i just focused on one project which is the Bandar Enstek project, all the street lighting layouts, voltage drop calculations, & some other bits.

That simple presentation using transparencies easily outclassed all of the others who used PowerPoints & such. i felt proud to be the only guy who got praised

Today, i’m continuing my work in the office while the thought i’m no longer a student at the back of my head.

Sihir..?

Well, as the title say, do any of u believe “sihir”? or black magic in English..

Apparently, as already said in the Al-Quran, this sihir exists ever since the times of the prophet Musa (Moses). Well, there are a lot of types of sihir as i know of, but now i’m focusing on the type that is meant to bring down your enemies or competitors.

I always heard of it being used in the business or politics sector, but apparently it’s also widely used in offices as well.

I’m talking from my experience because i think i am one of the victims of such acts.

Just imagine, from 6-7 new workers in a company, how can 1 lazy worker get “easily” recognized from all the people around him? just to make it interesting, how can it be that when asked, the senior workers there said, “he” is very active hardworking, likes to ask, while the others are “pendiam”..?

Well, kinda doesn’t make sense that only 1 out of 7 is suddenly so popular right?

Sure, some may argue that maybe he did an effort so he deserves it. But then again, what if the other 6 out of 7 did more work, did more asking around, did more stuffs & yet still no one at the office seem to “notice” them YET they can only see this particular guy?

Still not convinced?

Ok then, what if suddenly the other workers started being “cold” to you & was REALLY friendly instead to this particular guy, your still convinced it’s all down to coincidence?

Well, i consulted quite a number of people already, & all of them aggreed this guy might have been using some “things” for his gains. The advice that was given to me was to get some “Pendinding” for my own good.

Guess I have to be careful now, I really can’t afford to be naive in this competitive world. Had my share of backstabbing friends, i wouldn’t want to be a victim of “benda halus”

Durian… Again..

Well, it is still the season after all.

Today after some Tuition session that i do for my nephew who’s going to face UPSR this year,my brother in-law brought a hell a lot of durians, rambutans & cempedaks..

The insides of the durians were marvelous i tell u, not D24 grade, but definitely good enough..

Heck, I now realise i’m such an addict to this king of fruits, i even asked my mum to make serawa from it..

Too bad i forgot to take some pictures of it..

But guess i’ll go to the Dusun again next week

And this time, i’m keeping up to my promise NOT to miss out on it..

Hell yeah, it’s DURIAN season ladies & gentleman..

& just now i bought few kilos of the famous durian Tembaga or D24 & some durian kampung..

Truly respect to that brother seller, i asked him to recommend me some durians, & the ones he picked for me surely are NICE~

well worth the price i paid, until i remembered my bro-in-law has a kebun in Ulu Langat packed with durians, manggis, n such..

duh~

And the journey begins…..

Pressure… Is it too early?

Apparently,

One doesn’t expect to be the most junior of a team to be full of expectations & risks..

In my current task, I’m a part of the team responsible of “recommending” the KTMB aka Government on which types of trains to use for the JB LRT Project.

Pros: can go to the manufacturers factories to “inspect” the products, aka Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan

Cons: If anything goes wrong with the trains due to specs problems, it’s MY HEAD they’re after

well, considering the project is worth 4-5billion, the pressure is understandable, but is it too early for a junior like me to go at it straight on?

damn, i find myself in doubts most of the time..

like,

whether i can do it or not?

whether i would make mistakes or not?

whether at the end of the day i would stand it all or not..

System Express Rail Iskandar

Very rare an intern to be directly involved in a Mega project like this, RM5 billion to be crude.

Apart from the design of the depot especially in the electrical side of it (which is my course focus actually), i’m also in charge of the rolling stock a.k.a trains department. In layman’s terms, my role is to “recommend” to the government & gang on which trains to use for it.

Been puching my head for the past few weeks doing research & such because apparently those train manufacturers like Alstom, Bombardier, CSR Puzhen, they only build trains on customers demands, no trains are exact. Which explains the high cost of it.

*FYI, 1 coach or “Gerabak” costs around 14-18million depending on specs..

Right now, it’s still in the early stages, i’m expecting along the road to the final stage, they’ll be countless nights that i need to “camp” inside the office..

urrgghhhhhh~

can’t really reveal the details of the project to outsiders, but post anything that i think should not break the client’s agreements..

Yeah, been taking my sweet time updating this blog..

LOL…

truth is, i’m just plain lazy since i don’t have an internet connection at my home in Bangi..

Now, i moved to Ukay Perdana with my older sister, with the rent of about rm600, so-so laaaa….

Ok, back to topic, i’m doig my prac in SCGi, the consultant in the electrified double tracking project ( *a RM12.5 billion project fyi)

Today is my 3rd day, so everything is going a bit slow, still in the learning curve..

Got news that i might, highlighted “might” receive a project worth RM150million (Projek Bandar Enstek in Nilai) to handle the M&E part.. we’ll see how things go since my mentor is involve with the MMC-Gamuda projek..

that’s it for now…
